International Programs, a department of UC Irvine Division of Continuing Education, offers life-enriching academic, professional, and cultural experiences to international audiences to help them succeed in today’s competitive global environment. The experiences we provide include superior English-language instruction, high-quality certificates with pathways to internship options and Optional Practical Training (OPT), and comprehensive preparation for successful undergraduate and graduate studies.

English Language Programs
International Programs offers intense, dynamic English language study to students 17 years of age and older, at all levels of English proficiency.

Experience UCI Programs
UCI recognizes the value of global exchange, exposure to different learning environments and cultures and encouragement both while in university, and before being ready to apply to college. These programs give high school and university students from around the world exposure to university life in the United States in a safe and prepared schedule.
Custom Designed Programs
Students and professionals will benefit from an academic program tailored to meet the specific needs of a group. Customized Programs are ideal for groups who want to participate in our programs, but need the timeframe, educational focus, and content of the course to fit their needs.

UCI Division of Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or combine courses; to alter or discontinue curricula; and to change instructors. We make every effort to offer courses as scheduled. We are committed to notifying enrolled student at least two days prior to the start date of a course in the event a course will be canceled or postponed.
